@Zoshchenko have you read Crazy '08 by Cait Murphy. Really good book. She writes about the season well and makes it real fun.

Mets and Yankee fans are so annoying. Neither group of fans can just let the other group be. Mets fans always gotta call in every spring when the Mets do their annual like 8-1 start and the Yankees are struggling and then Yankee fans always gotta call in and tell Mets fans to stop being happy and call back in June. The biggest “rivalry” that literally has never and will never actually be a rivalry in any possible way.

Are other cities like this? Are White Sox fans and Cubs fans like this? Rangers/Astros? Dodgers/Angels?

 

I was just talking to my co-worker who was born and raised in Long Island right outside of NYC about this. He said he likes both teams and never understood the hate between fanbases.

 

Met/Jet fans are way less annoying than Giant/Yankee fans
