I think he honestly woke up after his suspension. Everything he said before it was fake as fuck and he really seemed genuine when he came back. If it's his PR responsible for it, A-Rod is one of the best actors in history.

 

Harold Reynolds can be fun at times on MLB Network. He's often the old school person who does not at all understand advanced statistics or even things like OPS, but he has a clear enthusiasm for the game and the talent within it, which makes for a fun watch and is why people like John Smoltz are insufferable. Baseball grumps are the worst. The game is fun, enjoyable, so many great young stars, yet people like Smoltz bemoan all development and would rather blather about their golf game.

I've never heard anything about him being a bad guy, so that sucks if true.

 

I didn't like Morgan at the time, but he's miles better than anyone ESPN has put on the air over the past 10 years.

On a somewhat related note, I was watching a spring training game that Jon Miller was calling and it really took me back.

I can't judge Arod commentary yet, I loved him pre and post game. I have the game on mute because I've got the girlfriend in bed with me and she don't wanna hear baseball for four hours
