Seems I overestimated the Flyers and underestimated the Stars.

 

I hope a team is stupid enough to trade for Giroux and/or Voracek this offseason. The Flyers top two lines have been nothing short of an embarrassment this series.

 

and Chiarelli's likely getting another job in a few weeks.

 

I think the stars are surprising themselves too.

I guess goaltending did the avs, who knows.

 

The most surprising thing to me is that Stars are winning without bishop in net. But I guess it doesn't really matter who's in net when you are putting up 5 a game.

The Islanders D has been super impressive. The Flyers just get zero penetration in the offensive zone every game.

 

Did not see Colorado getting destroyed by Dallas. Was really hoping for a COL/VAN conference finals. They should just break tradition and make the Lightning play Dallas and New York play Vegas cause TB/NYI should be the Cup.

 

Keith Jones is a passable analyst and but such a night and day improvement over Milbury.

 

I've never really not liked Keith Jones, but wish he would have told Milbury to shut the fuck up every once in a while.

 

Keith Jones' book is a fun read.

 

Keith Jones is fairly innocuous. Classic Hockey Man with silly tales but nothing super egregious

 

I also walked along the beach tonight instead of the game and I feel that was the right decision
