Raiders fans aren’t leaving their team because of AB’s dumb ass but I live Demarcus Lawrence’s attitude about pretty much everything, hahaha

    Make it happen.

I love how on GMFB Mike Garafolo asked AB’s agent if AB was okay mentally and his agent simply stated “Yes,” then Garafolo and everyone else on set looked completely dumbfounded when they realized what happens when you play armchair psychologist and speculate on things you have no room to be speculating on

It's an extension, so the deal adds on '21-'23 and the $64 million guarantee is a signing bonus that can be spread over the next five seasons. I'm not sure how they do it this year though. Maybe restructuring other contracts?

Don’t usually come in here unless there’s Browns news but this Antonio Brown situation has been some of the funnest offseason drama ever lol

Considering the feet and helmet situation would’ve been the same anywhere and probably a similar fine situation the Steelers may have won the offseason just by avoiding all this as well as getting a couple picks out of it.

I disagree its bad for teams. What they need to do is get rid of the dead cap hits for trades and suddenly its great for both. A team like the Colts right now, with all their cap space, could take on a few veteran contracts for draft picks and be set. Likewise for the Browns the past few years (they literally did this for Osweiler to move his guaranteed salary)

If AB is gonna sign, he'll sign with a team Tuesday when that contract doesnt make him a vested veteran contract for the year.

  21. It kinda bothers me that everyone is questioning AB’s mental health and just stamping “mental health problem” on the situation. I don’t see how you can say that based on what we know. I feel like majority of what’s going on with him this offseason is slightly overblown.

The stuff with his feet was him being dumb and making a really stupid mistake. It had nothing to do with mental health.

He thought the new helmets effected his performance. He fought for his old helmet. Who are we to say he’s being overly dramatic? In a profession where the smallest things can separate one player from the next, AB wanting to play with his old helmet because he thinks the new one makes him worse is reasonable. Putting a negative spin on this topic was weird.

Now, the stuff with the Raiders specifically is where I can’t really defend him. He clearly didn’t handle any of that well. But from what we know, it doesn’t seem like Mayock handled it well either. While AB was acting out of line, it’s clear Mayock’s inexperience in his new role came into play and he made things worse.

With all of that said, AB definitely comes across as arrogant and selfish. But I don’t think it’s fair to just stamp the mental health CTE label on him.

Yep, completely agree with all of this. Saw a lot of it popping up when the helmet thing was going on and I can at least somewhat understand where he’s coming from in that department. As a drummer, I want the sticks I want, the drumheads, the cymbals, whatever. It’s a personal preference. Who am I to judge someone for being upset about having to switch helmets. The constant questioning of his mental health has been out of line and it further enforces the unfortunate negative stigma that already surrounds the discussion of mental health

Honestly even with Pats history I can’t imagine they’d take on Brown. At least not this season. It’s not a matter if he acts up we’d drop. At this point it’s a guarantee to be a huge distraction.

I don’t see him playing this season
