Well, if being GM was JUST making decisions on players, Matt would actually be pretty solid at that. He calls ‘em early and he’s right relatively often.

But, in reality that’s the 5% of their job that we care about and judge them by. The rest of it, including contract details and just straight up being a CFO-level consummate professional? Honestly @preppyak would far and away be the best GM here

 

Matthew Stafford is not elevating a Lionst eam that everyone agrees needs to rebuild but the second you suggest they actually rebuild then you're the worst gm of all time lol. FOH

Like, you honestly gotta be an elite businessman to even THINK about SNIFFING that job lol. It’s not like it’s just laid back cause it’s football. There’s a lot of money & media pressure riding on that job, and they get paid a lot of money to do that job so that tie around their necks is TIGHT.

 

I'd remove the owner and take credit for the teams existence?
I'd allow Nazis on the team?
I'd build a wall obstructing the nature of Hawaii?

I would never want a job where I make major decisions lol. That’s why I love my job and why most of my coworkers in my department hate their jobs. I just get to cruise through the day working on stuff that’s finally been approved and discussed to death while they have to fight and bitch over every project for all eternity.

Being a GM would fucking suck because nerds like us x10000000 are always babbling about how much “better” and “smarter” we’d be
