I love you Randall, but you still drive me crazy when it comes to RBs.

 

Also, watch his college tape. Plenty of examples of him evading pass rush with his legs as well. He was a highly effective runner too that scored nearly 20 rushing TD in his career.

It’s not that he can’t roll out of the pocket... it’s that he already, from his college career, has a good sense of when to do that and when it’s better to just stay put and throw.

That specific skillset / discretion is SO IMPORTANT at the NFL level and his ability to do that regularly with few lapses is why I think he’s so underrated. He is well ahead of most NFL rookie QB when it comes to making decisions under pressure. He doesn’t have the arm strength nor does he have experience improvising with nuanced receivers... but he has something better and harder to find IMO.

I’ve been saying it since draft day and I’ll keep saying it. He doesn’t have the highest ceiling but he does have the highest floor - mentally he’s as close to NFL-ready as it gets.

 

I have nothing to do at work, the CEO is out, my boss hasn’t started today yet, and the only other guy to go to read my message of asking for something to work on but hasn’t responded in nearly two hours.

Dude, working from home has kicked so much ass. I love being able to do errands or clean up or shower at lunch so my nights are completely open every day.

 

If my nights were open I'd agree but I usually have to run errands after work since I'm the only one who drives at my house hahaha. But I do love being able to shower on breaks and eat lunch at home and do laundry and shit.

 

Jones looked good, but it’s not like any defenses are doing anything complex week one of preseason. Darnold looked good (and I love him), but he was also playing against simple defenses.

At least the game wasn’t boring!

 

Daniel Jones doesnt get that benefit though. He is hated and that pick was seen as laughable. Whereas Josh Allen, who by all means is a worse prospect with a worse tape, was touted as a possible number one pick. Also hes already played a year or whatever haha

So in my first Madden season this year juju had 120 catches, over 2100 yards, 19tds, and didn't even get on the board for mvp

 

That's nuts lol.

Me and @CarpetElf know somebody who, on All-Madden, got 21 receptions for 1100 yards and 17 TD in a single game with 6:30 quarters with John Ross. I don't even understand that shit. Game is fucking broken.
