Oh we have had the discussion. We bought the house thinking we would have two kids but I think we are definitely set with having just one.

But selling and downsizing is not easy. You have to think about what can you sell the house for, take off that 6% commission, how much is left on the mortgage, and then is what you have left over enough for a down payment on another house.

I think realistically we are in the house for another 3-5 years. Build up more equity, and by the time we will be 100% sure on if we are having a second kid or not.

Nah I’d like to pass on that predatory tax structure, support for violent police, xenophobia, support for big oil, cuts of public programs & healthcare, deregulation of business despite business being far too unregulated already, lack of environmentalist action, disenfranchisement and criminalization of POC-populated communities, etc.

I’d be taking a bribe if I accepted all of that just to cancel my student loan debt.

I wish we could pass on gerrymandering, political racketeering, and aggressive foreign policy too but sadly both our primary political parties are way too conservative on those issues. I legit don’t believe any president who says they are going to stop abusing our military with all these political proxy wars at this point. Obama really disappointed me with his aggressive foreign policy.
