So Mad Men is worth binging ?

 

Yes. I'm through about three episodes of season 2 and it is very good.

 

It is a top 5 (if not top 3) all time show IMO

 

It's my #1 show by quite a margin.

Dude, I've cut back on smoking so much but if I watch it, I smoke at least 1 cig between every single episode, haha

 

It's impossible not to! If I missed an episode I had to download it to my laptop and watch it on my porch so I could smoke while watching haha

 

Just did the math and it's my #4 show in terms of favorites but probably #2-3 in terms of quality I just like stuff that isn't as "perfect" too haha

 

Mad men is very overrated. I really just like watching for the copywriting, advertising stuff. I was very into it but got up to season 4, read about the final season and realized it wasn't worth continuing.

 

I'm curious about this tv math, please tell me more how it's calculated, haha

Mad Men is my number one for sure, and then a handful fall into the number two spot like Twin Peaks, Six Feet Under, Seinfeld, Last Man on Earth, The Office, and other known dramas and comedies, etc...

I need to watch Twin Peaks badly, pretty sure that's right after Barry on my backlog

I don't really have math behind it hahaha I just thought about shows I love. Cowboy Bebop is my favorite ever just because I am attached to it the most. Sopranos/Bojack/Mad Men are 2-4

 

The wire, recrify, parks and rec, the expanse, and a number of others depending on mood would round out my top 5

 

When you watch a group of people making eachother miserable endlessly and their lives changing throughout you hope it leads to something actually fulfilling instead of just more sadness to top it off.

 

My most egregious gap in television is I still haven't seen The Sopranos. I got 4 or 5 episodes in once but never went back. I really need to.

 

I was mainly messing with ya because I love that gif (even though I stand by comment on you missing the best seaons), people like what they like and it's all good.

 

(I also didn't like Mad Men)

 

It's excellent and you won't regret it

 

John hamm was on David Tennant's podcast and talked about how he got into acting and mad men and it was very interesting

 

Yeah out of all the stupid arguments I like to have I will never die on the TV hill even for fun really

 

It's weird but the sopranos has more bright spots than mad men, like way more and it had some very gruesome stuff.

 

I liked his episode on Hannibal Buress's podcast

 

I heard one like that awhile ago, I feel like it was during grantland so I would assume it was a Simmons episode but I liked it a lot.

The series finale of veep was so perfect. And very dark.

 

I love Mad Men. Halfway through season four on my rewatch.
