I mean, I guess you can rank groups however you want, but going by the most important stat in the league, points, they were 5th last year, so

Like come on...I know I'm being kinda ridiculous, but ask the Colts who they'd prefer lol.

Sony Michel is actually older than Marlon Mack

    (:

The Eagles absolutely can be a top 5 offense.

general manager Chris Ballard and head coach Frank Reich made it clear that they believe Mack’s breakout season was no fluke.

“We think a lot of Marlon Mack,” Ballard said. “We think he can play on all three downs. We think he can carry the load.”

my point wasn't to say Mack is great and Michel isn't

but to just completely dismiss Mack is a dumb take

Michel had 23 more rushing yards than Mack last year but on 14 more attempts. While being coached by the greatest coach in NFL history with the greatest quarterback in NFL history. Also had less TDs and a lower ypc and y/g.

Not dumber than saying the Colts are a good, well rounded offense lol. That team is one Andrew Luck blister from top 5 draft pick lol.

TY Hilton, Devin Funchess, Parris Campbell, Marlon Mack, Eric Ebron

That is not a top ten group of players.

So can the Browns, it's obviously not entirely based off last year.

how many games do you think the Patriots win if Brian Hoyer has to start a full season?

I think it's possible for any team to suddenly become a top five offense, so yeah, it is possible. But to include those two teams over the probably 10-15 teams that were better than them last year and/or did way better than them in the playoffs... idk, it just reeks of clickbait to me.

  16. CarpetElf

    benjamin? Prestigious

Clickbait for people to comment on how the Colts offense isnt top ten

Like, who actually thinks the Patriots offense won't be as good or better than the Browns this year. Cmon

....that now begs the question "how much better is Matt Cassell compared to Brian Hoyer" lol

    Bills - 2 wins. Let's be real
    Jets - 1 win
Dolphins - 1 win because we always lose against them on the road.
    Redskins - 1 win
    Giants - 1 Win
    Bengals - 1 win

Prob one more fluke win out of either the Steelers, Ravens or Cowboys.

    I'm gonna say 8-8.

I also think I deserve credit for not immediately launching into "BRIAN HOYER WON'T MAKE THE TEAM BECAUSE DANNY ETLING WILL TAKE HIS JOB AND WOULD STILL LEAD THE PATS TO 12-4"

God, watching Cassell play for my team nearly made me not watch games live for the first time in like 10-15 years. Puke

  22. broken22

    (:

Again though, I don't think it's entirely based off of last season.

For sure, I totally get that. But I don't think the changes so far this offseason is anywhere near enough to drop the Patriots down below the Browns, much less put the Browns in the top five.

The Eagles have a better argument for it, to be clear. But I'd still put the Patriots over them as well.

if Wentz stays healthy, give me the Eagles offense over the Patriots

I think they can be, 2017 is proof enough, but with him last year they averaged 22 points per game, which would be 20th in the league. But to be fair, he had that back injury.
