Years ago my buddy was like "oh, I know a good car guy" because it's impossible to find and trust someone. I went to the dude and he charged me $80 just to run a diagnostic, it was bullshit. He wouldn't even give me my keys until I paid.

 

I got charged $60 for a diagnostic! I'm like, I know you just plug the car into the computer and hit a couple keys but I'm paying $60 for this?

The quote I just got was $3900 for all the repairs that need to be done. I'm so glad I have good insurance but am not looking forward to my impending rate increase this July.

That’s not the argument... really the question is do we judge trades on trade day, or do we judge them more accurately later on when we see how they’ve affected teams. I argue that for all intents and purposes the latter is a much more useful way to analyze this.

I'm scared to go get my car serviced because I'm afraid they'll find something I'm unable to afford to get fixed. I was supposed to get it serviced at 75,000 miles but well over that and haven't went yet.
