Bored as hell so I'm putting together QB rankings over their first three years ever since the 2004 season.

Even if y'all don't care when I post these stats, I'm glad it at least gives me something to do.

I took all QBs who has started a minimum of 24 games (and a handful of first or second year players because they were too good to ignore) and use these efficiency/rate passing stats:

Then averaged their rankings across the board and got this top ten:

1. Patrick Mahomes
2. Deshaun Watson
3. Russell Wilson
4. Jared Goff
5. Dak Prescott
6. Nick Foles
7. Colin Kaepernick
8. Baker Mayfield
9. Carson Wentz
10. Philip Rivers

Then I took these efficiency/rate rushing stats:

Then averaged their in order rankings across the board and got this top ten:

1. Cam Newton
2. Colin Kaepernick
3. Dak Prescott
4. Deshaun Watson
5. Ben Roethlisberger
6. Geno Smith
7. Marcus Mariota
8. Vince Young
9. Andy Dalton
10. Andrew Luck

Then found an average between the two of those rankings with a weighting system counting their passing ranking to rushing ranking 5-to-1 and got this top ten:

1. Deshaun Watson
2. Patrick Mahomes
3. Russell Wilson
4. Dak Prescott
5. Colin Kaepernick
6. Nick Foles
7. Jared Goff
8. Marcus Mariota
9. Robert Griffin
10. Ben Roethlisberger

 

Gotta get back to work, but quick thinking is that it's just simply getting "easier" to find quarterbacks than it ever has been before.

 

I agree with these findings Deshaun definitely is > Brady

 

This is only QBs who had their first three years from 2004 until now, so Brady is excluded.
