    Lets Go. Prestigious

there is no way any other team has 8 players that make up that much of the cap (an average of ~$16 million/year)

As an example, the Patriots only have 4 guys on their roster who make over $10 million on average

2018 Pats top 5 cap hits were ~ 35% of the cap. Will get more data.

Top 10 were 47% of the cap.

    Top 10 - 43.32%

    Lets Go. Prestigious

Cowboys are going to have to pay the 8 guys I listed within the next year in all likelihood (barring 5th year options, etc. but even those are expensive)

Lets say those 8 come out to $125 million (which is probably on the low side) and the cap goes up to ~$200 mil. Thats 62.% of the cap in 8 players. That is absurd.

    2014 Pats (Seahawks Super Bowl)
    Top 5 -28.66%
    Top 10 - 43.26%

Using this math, the Pats would be on their 19th player.

Okay yeah, we'll definitely have to part with Jones which sucks but he's the odd man out because other than Dak, all those other guys are top 5 at their respective positions and I wouldn't want to lose any of them.

Zeke is possible because of wear and tear but that would be a huge blow to the offense.

So tell me something awesome Supporter

It's just so easy to find a good RB in this NFL, I think they could replace Zeke easily. Don't see em paying him.

That was fun to do though.

    The rivalry is back on

Do they have to dump someone big this offseason to make room? If not, those things tend to work themselves out with a season’s worth of injuries and regression so I think the issue is overstated ATM

    Guley is getting ~$14.5 AAV
    Cooks is getting $16mil AAV
    Donald got $22.5mil AAV
    Whitworth makes $11.5mil
    Brockers is $11.5mil
    Fowlers got $12mil
    Suh got $14mil

They havent resigned Peters or Goff yet, but the Rams are gonna make it work out.

It's easy to replace a good running back, but Zeke is an elite game-changing running back.

I think we could replicate his YPC or something like that, but him being on the field completely changes our offense and how the defense game plans. I don't see that happening with Howard or someone similar, you know what I mean?

Suh is not long for that team.

Lawrence is the only player right now. Franchise tags or 5th year options are for Dak and Zeke, I believe.

I don't think that Howard would have the same impact as current Zeke, but I think another good rookie RB (in whatever round) would have a similar value impact as Zeke with a giant contract

I don't know, I guess we can agree to disagree then. I think he's the best running back in the league and if not that, he's pretty much a lock for top 3 in the league and I don't think anyone near that level can be easily replaced.

Isn't Suh still a free agent?

Yeah I think it's just about what you'd prefer. I'd prefer to have a top 10 RB and another top 10 player for the same price together rather than just having a top 3 RB.

Didn't bell have like the most touches in 4 seasons of any drafted rb ever?

  23. I'll agree with this for sure

Oh, I agree with that completely and think that Zeke would be out the door before Dak or Lawrence if it came down to it and I'd agree with the decision, I'm just not looking forward to not having such a great running back to lean on, haha

I want Rosen on the Chargers but I'll settle for Rosen on the Pats and having the haters be proven wrong in the worst way
