Thinking more about Cole Beasley and just remembered how he ended up on the team. He was undrafted and we picked him up and something happened to him mentally, I believe, and he just left training camp saying he was going to retire and wasn't interested in playing at all. Our front office went to him and convinced him that he could play. Then he stayed for 7 years and made tens of millions of dollars.

Our guys loved the dude, but he's just wanting too much now. I hope he does well in Buffalo.

This is 100% false. Mosley is one of the best coverage linebackers in the league. Not sure where this opinion originates from but Mosley is a damn baller and a three down player. If any LB deserved more than Kuechly it’s him.

It's not often I have not heard of a player. 2 years up to 14 million with 7.7 guaranteed sounds like swing tackle money with the ability to earn up to $7 mil if he happens to win the starting RT job.

I’d love to know about all these ILB’s who can cover so much better than Mosley. I’d also love to know why no one is acknowledging the fact Kuechly has not been as good as he was a couple years ago.

I think we’re all getting a little complacent / comfortable with calling him the best MLB in the league, when that list has probably shifted since 2015-2016

 

Luke is still awesome. Not his fault his DL has been putrid

I just don’t really agree with “Mosley is strictly a thumper”. He posts solid coverage grades on PFF somewhat regularly. That was the reason I liked him way more than other Alabama LB who usually are strictly thumpers. I feel like that criticism is more perception than reality and y’all are def not giving him credit

One of those times where I disagree with the consensus here
