lol I mean Mosley's got multiple Pro Bowls under his belt and is an absolute monster. The way contracts are being passed out nowadays, kinda knew he'd get paid more than Kuechly.

 

Mosley doesn't affect the passing game at all though whereas Kuechly does.

Mosley is a pretty good player but the Jets are definitely in "we have money might as well spend it" mode which I can tell you from experience never works

 

Exactly. This is more or less the point I was trying to make. Not saying he's better than Kuechly but with teams having as much money as they do and wanting to bring in impact players, they'll over pay.

Jet's D is starting to shape up on paper...but they're spending a shit ton to make that happen.

 

Barr, Mosley, and Lee? That sounds fun.

 

Lee is getting cut or traded

 

And if they stay at 3, add Williams or Allen to that mix

 

Jets should trade back IMO

 

Crowder was a good signing too

 

I think I made my argument thinking he'd just stay in Baltimore, and also that he while he is very good at what he does, he's not as good all around as Kuechly. I was very wrong.

 

Absolutely and its known they want to. Just have to see if anyone pulls the trigger

 

I'm just waiting for the Eagles to sign Tevin Coleman or trade for Jordan Howard.

I like that Sheldon Richardson signing. Just 3 years, so it's not really a threat to when we need to lock-up Garrett and other young guys. Garrett/Ogunjobi/Richardson/Vernon is pretty stellar.

Also, I hope they trade for Darron Lee. He's perfect for what they need at LB.

 

Not sure how to feel about Coleman. He was great as a compliment to Freeman but mediocre with the starting gig last year (aside from a few good games)

 

The entire Falcons offense was mediocre last year though

 

Ryan was awesome last year, despite not having a run game or time to throw

 

Sheldon Richardson move is a great signing. And they may still add a DT in the draft. Thank you Dorsey for properly addressing a huge gap.

 

This sets up taking Jeffrey Simmons in the 1st pretty well. He'll need time to recover, but Richardson is a good starter for this year. There's other options too, but it doesn't pressure them to have to take a DT in the first round as well.

Hey, it's either that or you draft somebody and run the rookie out with Clement. I'd rather have Coleman at this point lol.

 

I'd be more than happy to bring Darby back as long as it's team friendly.
