It was a very good comedy/workplace satire when it’s scale was small and Michael was a tragic figure. It turned into like, Modern Family, where it leaned into its very large audiences’ favorite aspects of the show and got away from “realism” and satire, and wanted to give every character happy rides off into the sunset when the first three-ish seasons are actually pretty real and honest about its characters and their trajectories. That was when it worked best. It turned into a different show, not without quality and a lot of people still loved it and that’s fine, but the broader zany sitcom stuff with big wedding episodes and crazy Dwight/Andy antics was never my bag.

 

Now this I largely agree with. But the cringe and awkward humor is also not my bag haha.

 

Honestly I don’t even know my particular favorite movie, it changes so often, but I guess the ones I go back to most often are Fargo, royal tenenbaums, or almost famous

 

Cringe and awkward humor is my fav because I too am very awkward and cringeworthy

 

Thats why its my least favorite haha.

 

Also: Pulp Fiction, the Big Lebowski, and Fight Club are movies that span being very good to legitimate masterpieces of the medium, that also resonated with so many of the worst, loudest, most obnoxious people in the world.

The only bad thing about Parks is that Aziz and Chris Pratt suck ass irl

Its easy with Aziz and Pratt since Tom and Andy are two of my least favorites

 

Chris Pratt won me over on the O.C., then I thought he was legitimately brilliant in early seasons of Parks. Then he got cut and ripped and hasn't offered a performance worth a shit outside of Star-Lord (and I guess the first Lego Movie) in like 8 years.

 

I did enjoy his casting as Scott Hatteberg in the not talked about enough Moneyball.

 

Moneyball is perfect.

Pratt was great in Her as well.

Dude can go kick rocks though.

 

Her/Moneyball/LEGO Movie/Guardians into Jurassic World/Passengers/JW2/other garbage is such a 180 in quality for a career trajectory
