As someone who wants to see every NFL stadium. I actually relish the concept of going to one I actually dislike lol.

The only stadiums I’ve been to that I didn’t especially like were the Ravens & Panthers but neither one is a “bad” stadium, just bland and outdated compared to how stadiums are designed and renovated in modern days.

They both are in excellently convenient downtown locations though, so that redeems them and makes them both still solid places to see a game.

 

Yeah Luck was absolutely a better prospect than Burrow and had multiple years of Burrow level QB play on weak teams

 

You can make the argument liking prospect Burrow more than prospect Luck though if you want. Hes excellent. But hes absolutely not the best prospect of all time

You can’t take what Burrow is doing away from him because LSU is a better team than Stanford. That just makes no sense. His stats are not just good, they fully back up the argument that he’s the best college QB ever. If he’s aided by the talent of his team, then he’s sure as fuck taking FULL advantage of it.

He has 77.9% completion percentage overall in an offense that constantly throws downfield from an NFL style pocket in the SEC. Just for reference, 80% is the target QB percentage for a perfect QB rating. Most the time a high completion percentage is easier to obtain if the QB isn’t throwing that much, or throwing downfield, but his volume is ridiculous as well. He just broke every bowl record, I think they said he already broke the TD record (correct me if I’m wrong), and is one of 5 college QBs to break 5k yards, with one game left to go and a real shot to break Colt Brennan’s record. And it bears repeating he plays in the SEC and he doesn’t even play in an air raid offense! That context is important.

The “multiple years” part is a good argument for Luck, but I really do think Burrow is doing something thoroughly unprecedented with this season.

The 3 biggest knocks on Burrow:
1. Hes only done all this once
2. Hes an old prospect (this knock I dont really care about much)
3. He almost always has ALL DAY to throw

I'm not saying any of this makes him bad, hes obviously great. Its just worth pointing out and I think when he enters the NFL he won't be AS polished as people expect

Just feel like it’d be misleading to think he just stands there for those 7 seconds and doesn’t do anything to buy that extra time
