He's not totally wrong, all three of those are hugely overrated, regardless of their individual quality.

 

Pulp Fiction definitely isn't overrated, well I don't think so at least. The other two, definitely.

 

Yeah I don't disagree either, the cult-like obsession with all 3 of those movies is a bit weird, even though I do enjoy them.

 

It's all art, so overrated or underrated is a totally personal opinion, but I'm not big on QT films in general and would say Pulp Fiction is his 3rd best film maybe, and I'm not that wild about it in the first place. Inglourious Basterds and The Hateful Eight are both much better, imo

I'll say I straight up don't like The Big Lebowski. I don't find it or him funny. If anything, I find them obnoxious.

 

Took me until the credits to realize Nate Robinson was in the movie lol

 

Come to think of it, all three of those movies in that tweet could easily be argued that the directors each have much better movies than the ones mentioned:

Inglourious Basterds and The Hateful Eight
Seven and Zodiac
Raising Arizona and Fargo

Plus probably 2-4 others for each of them, haha

 

Only one of those movies I have seen is Pulp Fiction which I enjoyed but agree that the cult around it makes it kinda overrated

 

Hot Rod is one of my all time favorites so I’ll just sit the rest of this movie convo out
