We're going to get like two weeks into training camp before a player or coach gets it and it's all going to shut down again.

Fox and Tatum at a shoot for Adapt BB when I worked at Nike and Mitchell I randomly sat next to on a flight back to Portland when he was doing his pre draft workouts haha

 

If the year doesn't finish Giannis is still a Laker next year right?

I've only met five NBA players in person: Kyrie, Kevin Garnett, Wally Szczerbiak, Zach Lavine, and Kevin Love. All were nice, Wally prob the least nice.

 

I've never met an NBA player. MLB players were super nice except for Carlos Delgado. NHL players are by far the nicest to meet.

 

At a hawks game I met Dikembe Mutumbo and got his autograph when I was like 10. I tried to get Steve Smith’s too, but the guy acted like he didn’t even see or hear me. I also played high school ball against Corey Brewer.

 

Yeah but if I sat next to Crosby at a bar I wouldn't even know it.

 

I feel this way about baseball players more than hockey players. But I also work for a hockey company so it kinda explains it.

 

Kershaw, Trout, Judge I could DEFINITELY name if I saw them but that's about it.

Ovechkin is the only hockey player I'd recognize.

 

For a couple years my company did some NBA spots for Disney Channel so I got to travel for those and meet a bunch of players at their practice gyms, that was rad. Warriors, Celtics, Thunder, Bulls. Did something with the Bucks too (no Giannis tho which was a bummer)

 

Judge, Betts, Benintendi, David Price and like...maaaaaybe Xander Boegarts lol

 

Yeah nice guy, he seemed pretty shy at the time, we had the whole group of the young up and coming Nike athletes there and I was feeding them lines to repeat for video content on the Nike app and Tatum was for sure nervous and fumbling over them a bit it was endearing

 

Luka was the best though his english definitely was not as good as it is now so we had to go kinda phrase by phrase but he was a big sweetheart and seemed so excited to be there for the first time, especially cause they all got to meet and workout with Kobe that day

 

I've always kinda got the vibe that he could be a little shy. He seems like a good dude though. I love having him and Jaylen to root for.
