i cannot imagine a world that has an olympics this summer

 

I dunno as unprecedented as yhist all is I can't see it taking all summer for the pandemic to be alleviated at least a decent extent.

I’m sure they have lots of ideas about what could happen. Maybe start the season again later and have best of 5 rounds, play into late summer and have a condensed season following that starts on Christmas. I have a hard time seeing them just never resolving the season and just starting again next year, but obviously I don’t know shit

suspended for a minimum of 30 days pushes the season right up against the start of the postseason so I definitely think the regular season is essentially over. I could see the playoffs beginning in May and playing into July thus pushing back free agency and the draft and might be the push they need to finally shorten the season and begin it on Christmas Day.
