Some notes on their exception

• ⁠C's are hard capped so they aren't getting anyone making more than 20ish mil with this (this year)
• ⁠C's will still need to send value back if they are getting a valuable player


It's a good thing 100% but it’s unlikely Boston uses it this year because they want to stay under the tax. They could also split it.

As for targets next summer in a sign and trade/trade
Lavine/Aaron Gordon/Aldridge/Demar.

Someone like George Hill or Ariza this season.

 

Boston used the full MLE on TT so they’re gonna be hard capped regardless this upcoming season.
