Lakers are absolutely a playoff team and I would count on them having homecourt advantage in the first round

I hope so, I'd be happy with either team pulling it off

I love them and want them to take off but if there's a team I believe could've been a one hit wonder potentially it's the Nuggets haha, it's hard for me to call them a lock which is a shame cuz I think they were discredited way too much last season but I could just see em freefalling

Originally had em over the Spurs but I'm done picking the Spurs to fall at this point, done it for years and I'll never get what I want

What are the Suns going to do when they realize that Ricky isn't going to take them to the playoffs?

Also, yea, maybe the bulls could find a scorer somewhere for coby to pass it to. They can't pick and roll forever.

I mean besides Bron and AD the Lakers roster is a mess.

I the as far as the east goes, I'd imagine the top 3 are Bucks,Sixers, Pacers.

    Kuzma
    Danny Green
Cousins (given he'll never be what he was)

Then a bunch of additional 3 point gunners

And will get a pretty good player when buyouts starting going down mid season. They'll be more than fine

Danny Green is very good. Boogie and Javale make a fine center duo. The PG position is obviously a coin flip. I dunno, I just don't see it being that huge of a mess. They are just a gigantic team.

But to be fair I could see last year being an over achievement and us being down in the 6-8 range. Really depends on Murray improving his consistency

My take, the Jazz and Nuggets battle for the 1 seed in the west, while the Rockets, Blazers, Lakers, and Clippers hover in the 3 to 6 range. Warriors, Spurs, Kings, Mavericks battle for 7 and 8.

Going to be horrific defensively with zero depth...also, Lebron is not a regular season guy anymore, just needs to get to the playoffs where he can go off. Not sure he or AD plays over 60 games in the reg. season which all tells me a lower seed.

I just fully expect that if we're able to save the world from its impending destruction due to climate change I'll be in the hospital waiting for my grandchild to be born and Popovich will be coaching the Spurs into the playoffs

Westbrook to the Spurs could be interesting, but i'm guessing he goes to Miami...

Personally, I just can't wait until Jason Kidd stabs Frank Vogel in the back and steals his job mid season.

Lots of depth still, which you need for the playoffs, and if Jokic can remain an MVP candidate and take it even to the next level they'll still be a hard out in the West...winning the west last year was no joke, they earned it.

Oh wow that would weirdly make sense, I could see the Spurs getting a lot out of Westbrook at this stage of his career

I give it the first 20 games, if they're hovering around .500 I could see it happening...

They'd have to dump Derozan most likely, which I wouldn't advocate for...Westbrook has been a first round playoff loser for a long time now, but with Pop coaching maybe he could fit. They need a dominant scorer, distributor, and he has that motor every team needs. Plays his heart out every game, and his lack of a 3 pt shot is a benefit to Pop haha.

  25. I would be really shocked if the lakers were less than a 5 seed. Granted I said that last year too but still
