Ive only been able to watch game updates on my phone tonight. Feels like every time I refresh the Lightning have a power play. What is happening?

 

Come on Marchand, stupid penalty.

Like I get it, Marchand you’re still pissed from the non slash call game 2. But my god. You’re down 2. Not the time for dumb dumb dumb penalties. They lucked out TB didn’t score from it.

 

Hedman hits himself in the face with his stick and Tampa gets a 4 minute power play. Chara takes a stick to the face and there’s no call. The Bruins have not been playing well but a little consistency would be nice.

 

I know everyone always complains about officiating but this playoffs seems especially bad?

 

It’s been brutal in every series.

Lol I'm kidding...it's been bad because there's been so few explanations given for the majority of what's gone down.

It would be one thing if they called it tight consistently or let them play consistently but there doesn’t seem like there’s any rhyme or reason to what they’re calling.

 

I went from putting thumb tacks into my boxing gloves to a kinship.

Even beyond the big calls though, I feel like tiny things like icing go from super generous to bafflingly strict. It’s weird.

 

Little things like guys getting thrown out of the face off circle can have a huge impact

 

Nash had such a good chance, but other than that the Bruins just can’t get anything going. Lightning are cutting them off everywhere.

 

They keep losing the puck in the boards

 

And losing every puck battle

 

Super frustrating game to watch. Good on the lightning for playing so well, but I hope the Bruins can adjust for game 4.

 

This team turned back into a pumpkin. Bottom six looks terrible. Defense has looked shaky since Carlo’s ankle exploded. Rask hasn’t been great, but being left out to dry has made him look much worse than he’s been

 

There’s no reason not to give Donato a shot over Riley Nash in game 4. He can’t possibly play worse.

 

Riley has been bad but no one else on that line is good as him in the face off circle. I would happily scratch Backes or Heinen at this point

Backes has been non-existent

 

At this point I’m just looking forward to full years of Bjork and Donato, and praying like hell Donny can get Urho over here soon.

Terrible game by Bruins. Agreed on the Donato thing. Let the kid play and see if he can inject some life into it. The Bruins have been so back and forth. Either pure domination or nothing.
