Dallas looks quite good through the first couple of games.

 

just finished watching their game against Winnipeg this morning and thought the same thing. granted, who knows what Arizona will actually be - seems like everyone picked them and Dallas to be dark horse playoff contenders / greatly improved from last year teams - but they played a great game the entire way against what many are calling the #1 in the West.

also surprised to see Toronto lose to Ottawa and Montreal beat Pittsburgh, but hey, that's why they play the games.

also Pittsburgh got dismantled 10-1 by the fucking Blackhawks last year in game 1 or 2 and that certainly didn't stick lol

 

Minnesota has 2 goals in 2 games. that's not very good.

 

Vancouver is fun to watch, even for as many mistakes as they make, and 90% of the roster looks like my 7th grade social studies class so that's neat

I love those Blues uniforms they wore Saturday night (not sure if this is their regular home jersey or not). Not quite a powder blue but not a dark blue. The darker yellow is awesome too. Great look.

Toronto trades Nylander for Bobrovsky? i know Bobrovsky is a FA after the season and may not sign / Toronto probably doesn't have cap space to resign him, but Nylander seems like he won't sign any time soon and goaltending is gonna be Toronto's downfall

 

Andersen's a legitimate #1 even if he habitually spends the first month of the season shitting himself. We do need a backup though.

 

I was at the hawks game tonight it was fucking crazy. When Kane tied it the 2nd time he mocked Matthews it was fucking awesome. I’ll take a point 5 of 6 to start the season is a huge win
