Realistically, catch rate isn't really the best stat. It's just total receptions over total targets and does not consider the difficulty of actually catching the ball. Given the fact that DeShone Kizer was throwing the ball last year, most of those targets are ridiculous to even consider. I'm not saying Coleman is the best receiver, but this stat is just ridiculous to judge performance across the league.

Agreed on that half, but he's a good 15% below most everyone on the team. He's 10% below Sammie Coates...who he's likely running similar routes to

Yeah, again, I'm not saying he's the best receiver at all, but he's had some pretty awful QBs he's had to work with in his two years. Even comparing across the team is pretty ridiculous too. Comparing him to Sammie Coates is ridiculous though because Coates was targeted just 11 times. Plus, the plays are not usually drawn up for guys like Coates or even Higgins and the defense is probably not prioritizing coverage of him when he's on the field.

This is another point that devalues the stat. When healthy, Coleman was the #1 WR for the Browns last year and much more of a focus for opposing defenses. Some guys are going to get more focus from the defense, be doubled in their route or they might just have to run stretch routes that are less likely to get a reception. Go to the Eagles last year and you have Jeffery at a 47.5% catch rate, Hollins at 72.7%, Agholor at 65.3% and Smith at 52.2%. Yes, Jeffery had a torn rotator cuff, but it's clear he's still the best WR on the team.

So Le'Veon Bell will likely not play week 1... The Browns really have a legitimate shot on Sunday.

Still the Browns, James Conner is gonna go for 100+ yards, 2 TDs, and they trade Bell for a Khalil Mack level deal

I’d love for them to trade Bell at this point. But I don’t see it happening.

Hell yeah ... Still trying to find video of this.

  10. Conner is a good back for RBBC. but he's obviously improved from last year especially in the passing game. I'd be comfortable with connor, Samuels, and Ridley if that's what it comes to.

Awesome! I couldn’t figure out why the hell they wanted Booker to start when Royce was better in practice as well as the preseason games.

so they were paying him / still working with him this whole time? and they just... didn't admit it until now or what? that seems... weird and questionable to hide the info until now.

Its been brought up before, but, nobody really made a big deal of it. This was in response to Adidas saying they would sponsor him

"Colin Kaepernick is currently a Nike athlete and has been one since 2011.": Colin Kaepernick deserves endorsement even if he's not in the NFL.
