His politics are racism. He actively rejects human rights platforms because he misdiagnoses the issue as not systemic, but individual. His entire philosophical and political argument for inequality is based on his beliefs in biology and the behaviors of the individual marginalized communities, rather than the institutions they operate within. He is a bigot who rose to prominence entirely because he opposed more inclusive language at his school and has consistently made his name trumpeting against those who fight for human rights while spouting off generic self-help platitudes that people can find anywhere, the only reason his generic self-help platitudes took off so much is because he tinges it with white male identity politics where he assures his audience that straight white men are the true victims of our current cultural climate. When you follow that thread, it leads to the most vile of humanity.

Pro tip: If your politics steer close enough to white nationalists that you have to consistently tell people that you aren't actually a white nationalist yourself, reconsider your politics (particularly when you consistently rub elbows with racists)

So his ideas about oppression of women in history, islamophobia, white privilege, and gender identity are the proof that he’s racist? They are only proof that he thinks very differently than the modern Left. I get it. To someone that holds very left-wing views, JBP is certainly not an ally. To moderate or conservative people, he may or may not seem rational depending on the subject he is speaking about. I honestly don’t think he’s racist. He has seemed to help a lot of people understand psychology better and get their life straightened out. I’m more than happy to read any pieces about him. And I’m also more than happy to let this thread go back to discussing the NFL.
