I live in a city neighborhood in Pittsburgh that is mostly old people, but the housing is crazy cheap (unlike some of the cooler or gentrifying neighborhoods). We pay $750/mo mortgage for a 4 br/2 bath house. Got the place for just under $100k total.
Can't complain.

 

Wash Park is super nice. I’d love to live there but it can be super expensive. If you branch out a little outside of it though you can find something cheaper

Oh yeah for sure. We've found some stuff in the $1,300 and $1,400 range in Washington Park and my roommate is already getting a raise when she transfers out there anyway. I'm gonna go ahead and assume they pay better than the south so I'm not too worried considering my rent right now is basically $1,200 haha.

But yes, going to move to Denver and slowly become your best friend. I did that with Randall and will be making my rounds and will get to all of you*
