Manning did kind of have a decline though. And his style of play made that decline harsher. He typically threw double digit interceptions. Brady hasn't in what, five seasons? I'd be surprised if he falters like Manning did.

Peyton was pretty bad in 2015, but he was great in 2012 and 2013. The fallback started in 2014, but he was still pretty above average. I don't hold it against him because he looked like he was fighting through injury.

Either way, I think Brady will certainly outdo him.

I love the idea that the pats knew they couldn't extend cooks so they wanted to get any kind of value for him and the Rams just went full browns and were like "we'll give you a 1st!!!". Billy B drives a hard bargain for someone he was never gonna keep.

 

I don't think there is any doubt that Cooks is a good player

my entire point was that I would not give up a 1st rounder for him AND pay him $16+ million/year or whatever. He is not worth that IMO. He is not on the level of these other guys making elite money.

 

He was cut by Miami though, right? That wouldn't count if he was a cut

 

Browns never trade 1st rounders for players already in the league, Julian. In fact, they usually trade to get more 1st picks.

He coached fearless and that's how you beat the Pats. It was definitely one of the better Super Bowls though.

 

Don't be a loser we still gonna own the AFCS. Houston got tougher but they're not automatically better than the playoff teams we beat last year.

The WRs worry me too but remember we didn't have any last year either bc of injuries. Lost Colvin which sucks, but gained Norwell and hes honestly a bigger piece. This team/roster isnt that different than the one that just almost made it to the SB.
