I only wanted to cut Hurns to make room for ARob. Id rather have Hurns than Moncrief. We got a LOT WORSE at WR this offseason dude.

Hurns was a terrible signing. He's also not "way better than Moncrief" considering Hurns is the #1 guy and got outplayed by pretty much every single player on the roster. Moncrief had Brissett and whoever the fuck else he had, Hasselbeck? Freeman? Hurns had his chances and failed.

 

I haven't met any actual football fan who doesn't know about Ngakoue

Hurns was never the number one guy youre literally just making that up. He was always behind Lee or ARob.

Moncrief had plenty of Andrew Luck.

We paid Moncrief a bigger salary than Hurns and guaranteed him almost as much over one year as we guaranteed Hurns over four.

You also cant genuinely say "the money doesn't matter" about Moncrief and then say Hurns was a terrible signing. We had excess cap space and barely spent the minimum when we signed Hurns. And Moncrief is making more than Hurns would have this year, 9.6 mill fully guaranteed versus 7 mill and 4 guaranteed

 

That's pretty unbelievable, he's very hard to miss

 

I'm not making that up. Hurns had a chance to be the number one guy when Robinson went down. Hurns failed. Same reason why Moncrief and Richardson and better than Lee. We know Lee and Hurns are bad for us. Moncrief and Richardson are at least slight unknowns. A change of scenery helps sometimes.

Yes I can. Moncrief is a one year deal. Hurns was a multi-year deal. A one year deal is MUCH different.

Ive paid attention to their skill sets, Moncrief and Richardson are NOT UPGRADES.

Who is better!? Who did we get rid of!? Robinson left. That was his choice. Hurns is not good. We know this. We know it for a fact that Allen Hurns does not play good football for the Jacksonville Jaguars. Why keep him? Moncrief was decent when Luck was healthy. Bortles is a much better fit for his skill-set. Maybe he can reach his potential here. We KNOW Hurns won't. It's simple. Hurns over Moncrief is a loser mentality.

 

$7 million/year is peanuts for the way this market shook out.

Number two, Bortles is not better at throwing in the red zone than Andrew Luck, how and why in the fuck would you say Bortles is better for his skill set??

Number three, Hurns numbers have always been better than Moncrief even when he had Luck.

Four, Moncrief fucking blows and never having more than 750 yards isnt "decent". He got TDs by volume and role, not because hes any good as a starter. Luck could throw 6 TD in a season to just about any 6'3" third or fourth WR based on matchup and ball placement alone.
