Missed it while I was out yesterday but the Bills did a really nice job with the Trent Murphy contract I think. I was not thrilled at 3 years, $21 million for a guy coming off a knee injury and PED suspension, but feel better now.

It's basically a year to year deal. They can get out after 2018 or 2019 with a decent savings and relatively low dead cap. Brandon Beane is a wizard

We signed a 39 year old player-coach and a guy that hasn’t played meaningful football in two seasons. Both are signed to one year deals as well.

McCown starting a full season is highly unlikely and he’s a great locker room guy.

Maccagnan is comfortable with the top four QBs and he’s making sure he gets one. That other second rounder this year was acquired in the Richardson trade...a trade that the Jets clearly won.

He has been making moves to build around a QB for three years now. It was time to move up.

Both teams did well on this deal. Not giving up a future first sealed that deal for me...I just hope it’s not Josh Allen.

When we spent that money on two bums and still have cap space this year, I'm not sure that makes any sentient point at all.

Also really mad cause ARob's contract is not that bad. its 14 AAV yeah, but its only 14 TOTAL guaranteed over 3 years. If he really sucks post-ACL Chicago could literally cut him post June 1 next year and not suffer that much dead money in 2019. And if he does get back to his old form, then he's worth 14!! Win/win contract and we failed to offer or match it.

Panthers had visits with Eric Ebron and Luke Wilson but I haven’t heard anything since. Either would be great options behind Olsen. But I have a feeling both are slipping away.

I thought he was....a little sporadic but he was thrown into a weird situation. Eagles traded for him in August. He dislocated his ankle in Week 1 and was out for half the year. Came back and played pretty well, I felt.

Eagles just aren't going to pay him a big deal after this next season since they have a boatload of young corners under cheap deals for a while.

 

Darby and Kendricks for Marqise Lee and a toaster that can cook four pieces of bread at once

 

Well. That will be a fun comeback.
