lol fournette is still good, it isn’t his fault the rest of the offense is doodoo so he gets targeted by the defense.

Nah, Fowler is an actually solid player and I’m mad we traded him. Without that torn ACL in his rookie year we definitely would’ve seen him develop faster too.

I’d try out Fangio. I would only take Gase as OC, not sold on him as HC. Same with, I would only take Bowles as DC.

    Also heres my opinion:

Cutting ties with Fournette this fast would be so dumb. He at least deserves another full season as then feature back.

I don’t think he’s very mature either but you don’t just throw talent away, that’s part of having a young team. It’s your job as a coach to create a culture and to coach them into a better team player. At some point it’s the coaches’ fault too if they can’t motivate the player or establish a trusting, good relationship.

I would hate that — but of all the crazy things that have been suggested lately, getting a high 2nd round pick or something for Fournette and resigning Yeldon instead is not as bad as trading Ramsey or cutting Campbell. Both of those ideas make me want to vomit.

Interesting...now show me Nick Foles stats 2014-2016 in other failing systems.

Dude. Fournette has been in an offense led by Blake Bortles and a average (at best) offensive line and a TE by the name of ?????. Not to mention their WR1 ??????? And WR2 ?????. Don’t forget the sleeper slot WR who is otherwise known as ?????.

Put Fournette behind the Wentz and the Eagles OL with all the weapons they have (they’re going to bring DJax back this offseason, too) and I think you’d see a different result.

If the Eagles are making Josh Adams and Wendell Smallwood look halfway competent, I think they could do much much much worse than Fournette.

    Nope. Supporter

There are a lot of factors contributing to Fournette's downfall this year (some being his own doing) but i'm not willing to call him a bust just yet. The Jags offense was fucking awful, maybe one of the worst in years (the 2018 Cardinals will hold this title for a while). The best thing for him would be to get some new coaches in there and he could have a Gurley turnaround, which unfortunately for him, doesn't seem to be happening in Jacksonville. So I think it would be best for him to start over somewhere new, which I don't have any doubts he could have success unless it's another terrible garbage offense

Odell is an actual elite star talent

I Think Fournette is a good player but he also plays the most replaceable position in the sport

I mean Wentz is already injury prone, so let's add another player that can't stay healthy. I don't know I mean if they pulled that trade off I hope Fournette would prove me wrong.

Fournette is definitely not “easily replaceable”. The main problem is you wonder how much of him you’re gonna get between injuries. If he got his health together he’d be a menace.

Most of his shitty games happen right after he was hurt and the team rushed him back. Healthy Fournette makes a lot of guys miss, runs over DBs and rips off consistent chunks of yards.

Also that tweet saying “limited receiving skill” is just as clueless as our coaching staff. He’s never gonna like highpoint a leaping pass 30 yards downfield, but he catches passes out if the backfield just fine and is dangerous after the catch.

That’s his most under utilized skill and it’s not like he’s a bad blocker, he could certainly handle third down back assignments. I am constantly aggravated we don’t throw to him more because it seems high percentage that he turns it into a first down or a bigger play.

95% of running backs are replaceable

of course guys like Barkley, Gurley, Zeke etc aren't, but Fournette isnt on that level
