He'd be smart to choose Indianapolis. I'm interested to see if Kansas City makes a run at him (but I haven't looked at cap numbers to see if this is even a possibility).

I think he'll follow the money.

 

Yeah following the money seems to be his primary goal. He had no other incentive to leave Pittsburgh. They were giving him enough volume and playoff success to make him an eventual Hall of Fame player if he stayed.

I feel like Mack and Hines are decent enough to not blow a bunch of money at Bell.

I wouldn’t give what will be a 27 year old RB, with suspension, injury, and holdout history tons of money if you had decent options already in place.

As far as I’m concerned that dude ain’t old yet. He isn’t injury prone, he’s had double digit sacks two years in a row for us, and PFF still ranks him a top 5 edge player, last I checked he was 3rd between Khalil Mack and Cameron Jordan. Dude is an even better run stuffer than pass rusher, too. He is earning the SHIT out of his contract, why the fuck would we cut him. Shut up lol

At the moment, I’d cut literally ALL of our other expensive veteran FA signings before I cut him. We could cut Malik and Dareus and put Dexter Lawrence and Taven Bryan in there, that would be a financial move that makes WAY more sense and saves twice as much money
