I don’t watch the Jets much but saw that coaches were wearing sweatshirts that said “Gotham City” today....

Why? Isn’t Gotham City like, Chicago? It’s not New York...?

 

Actually Nashville is Gotham City. The AT&T building there is what they used in the film for Bruce Wayne’s company building. Lol

 

The Dark Knight was filmed in Pittsburgh (right outside my old works building downtown. I got to see the bat mobile in action.).

Just watched that Hopkins catch again.

I love how he spins and tucks it into his right arm, with the corner’s hand ON the ball, to avoid him knocking it out.

His release on the line was so PRO too, he feigned an inside release, extended his arms to prevent the defender engaging his chest... then fought back across the defender’s face to get outside, and then used his arm strength to stiff arm the guy off him and stay inbounds. That CB did an excellent job in coverage and Hopkins just bullied him.

Then for him to just, intuitively know when the ball’s coming, and still time his jump perfectly, despite being distracted by physical handfighting through the whole route.

That shit was just... *kisses cupped hand* perfection

 

Every Hopkins catch vs Ramsey is like that and it’s infuriating haha. Ramsey is all over him all game and he still gets like 9 catches for 160 yards

 

Ramsey plays Hopkins the exact way Hopkins plays Ramsey which is why I love em both

 

Dude, if I could have the Jags follow me to my next location I am all for it lol.

Portland, Austin (not San Antonio), and San Diego are all places I’d enjoy lol. But I’m probably heading back to Baltimore/Annapolis area to be near my dad, and finish college.

Also gotta transfer to a Chart House that is always as busy as the one here is right now. My salary would jump from $30k to $50-$60k easily. There’s one in SD & SATX too so technically you’re not far off lol

i wouldn’t hate a 1 or FRONT LOADED two year deal if we had the space for it. It’s better than drafting a QB this draft to be perfectly honest.

Long term starter at MLB or OT? Or take a gamble on a QB from a gimmicky college system that never prepares NFL-style QBs despite being successful in college?

Again, like I said, paid off with with Deshaun and Mahomes. Could easily not pay off and we could point to tons of examples of that as well.

I generally like to see NFL style pocket shuffles and at least some simple whole field reads, I like to see some flashes of anticipation before I feel like a college QB is prepared to be called a safe early pick. Some are just special and can quickly learn things they didn’t focus on at the college level, but there’s much less risk involved if they have that experience

 

Niners haven’t forced a turnover since October, and as I was learning this stat, we just fumbled and the Hawks recovered. Fuuuuu
