  1. I think he buys a year or two by getting rid of Butler.

He might be fucked once Ben retires though.

What dumb things does he say on a weekly basis?
Also, it is true that Tomlin has never had a losing season. It is also true that there is some mismanagement in games. However, if you compare the two, the winning seasons are greatly more important. If it was as widespread and as grave as most of the online fanbase would lead you to believe, we wouldn't have so many winning records.

i think he's fine as long as Ben is there (2-3 years? less?) bringing a new coach with an aging QB doesn't really spell success imo so they'd be better off waiting and replace Tomlin (if they would feel they need to) once they have a new QB ready to go

I don't think Tomlin is going anywhere as long as the team is winning under him.
Unfortunately, he doesn't get a lot of credit locally and online (which seems to have racial undertones), and it seems to really grow when he has actual missteps.
I'm not going to say he doesn't mess up, but he doesn't deserve half of the grief he gets. I'm glad the Rooneys are solidly behind him.

  8. You get 63-yard game winner Gano and 2x COTY Rivera. Steelers win that trade easily.

We were def talking about 2014 though? I mean that’s why Watkins / Evans / Cooks came up

Since when was anyone talking about 2013

Also this lol. @CarpetElf there’s no way you didn’t like Marqise Lee at all coming out. Grading Kelvin Benjamin or Davante Adams over him on draft day would have been dumb regardless what hindsight tells us

I actually did not like Marquise Lee at all and thought it was ridiculous that he was getting 1st round hype haha. Why do you think I've ALWAYS hated him so much?

Yeah but that’s really weird. Lee was a Biletnikoff award winner (for top WR in the nation) who posted 1745 yards and 14 TDs in a season, including setting PAC 12 single-game records for receiving yards (345) and return yards (251).

He showed exceptional route running and fluid change of direction, as well as plus body control on the sidelines and ability to slip tackles on returns and screens. Lee has absolutely been a disappointment due to injuries and unreliable hands, but based on his college career he was top 50 pick all day. The only reason he wasn’t a top WR prospect is because that was the best WR class of the past, like, 15-20 years.

Getting him in the second round felt like a bargain at the time.

    Nope. Supporter

I would love to having the conondrum of deciding whether or not deciding Tomlin is a good idea. Please give me that stability

USC receivers are almost always overdrafted and overrated due to the great offensive scheme they play in. Setting records means nothing in college football and stats mean significantly less as well.

    right!?

in jacksonville we have the conundrum of deciding whether or not Doug Marrone is a good idea.

    much sad. very not good.
