i feel like Packers fan (not saying Drew, i mean other Packers fan i live around / work with in this mostly frozen hellscape) expected Rodgers to play at 2010-2012 level for the rest of his career. heck, seems like even MM and the GM's thought that with how they've assembled some of their teams. and the fact that (big shocker!) someone in their mid-30's isn't playing like they were at 26-28 has completely baffled that fanbase

 

it's like they completely forgot how shit they were last year with an actual bad QB.

upcoming worst job in sports - the QB that has to follow the Favre/Rodgers years. ouch.

 

I saw that stat a few months ago and it's probably my favorite stat ever

 

Romo is my bae. I'll defend him forever. He's the most talented QB of his era that didn't win a ring and he's more talented than a few who did during that same era.

I don't even think Anthony Castonzo is that good. Nelson and Kelly are shutting down that interior pressure is what it is.

Crazy that the Cowboys line fell off though. A lot of it is Dak's fault but that's a LOT of sacks.

I blame coaching for the Cowboys 100%. This is the exact team they've always shown me to be, the team that gets uber talented players and has to ALWAYS depend on those players to be there or else the whole system fails.

I know Dak is a big cause of a lot of those sacks but he's also a 4th round project and it's the coaches' responsibility to develop that 4th round project.

 

Every team in the NFL does it against us and JJ is still a 3x DPOY

i'm in the camp that if you put Romo on the Falcons of the last 3-4 years, they have a ring. or at the very least, they don't blow a 28-3 lead. (i'm not a big Matt Ryan fan and would Romo above him regardless, but i feel like people would put Ryan above Romo, which i disagree with)

Like I said, and like @CarpetElf said probably a bunch of times, we would rather lose spectacularly to bad teams, if that’s what it takes to make some immediate changes to our leadership. As good as 2017 was we needed to address this or else risk wasting our high potential defensive roster.

 

There's a guy out there who the jags can sign to play qb, he hasn't played in awhile though...

Cody Kessler has looked better than Bortles all year and not sticking with him after the Texans game was a mistake. The interception he threw was entirely Yeldon's fault.

 

At this point I don't expect anyone to sign Kaepernick, even if he is technically better than the players they sign instead of him.
