oh I know why it's on TNT and on paper it'll be a closer matchup but it's painful basketball

I doubt we see a repeat MVP winner for a long time if it's that lopsided based on the insane season Harden had

I've come to terms that voters lean towards the novelty of it now

We’ve had a back-to-back MVP literally three years ago and Harden has finished top 2 all three years since. The narrative of voter bias against him is silly. Giannis had an also-historic offensive season and might win DPOY, a vote for him isn’t a vote against Harden.

 

Also if we’re talking about novelty what about the novelty of his 30-point game streak where he was jacking up threes late in multiple blowouts to keep it alive

 

Really I think people just need to understand there isn't a right or wrong vote if you are voting for either one of them....

 

I was shocked to see how many people voted for Gobert already tbh. Giannis has a good amount of votes
