Apparently Luke Walton is the King's first choice, should he become available.

 

I'm actually not even opposed to the Cavs bringing back Larry Drew for one more year. Especially if the Cavs fall out of the top 3. Larry did a good job of keeping the team together despite losing and a shitload of injuries. They played hard all season long and their chemistry seemed exceptional for a miserable team. Plus they got a lot of growth from Sexton throughout the year, which was a very positive sign. If they don't land Zion, Ja or Barrett, I don't see them getting much more talented so they might as well keep a coach around for another year that can manage a very lousy team and then hire a coach in summer of 2020 when they'll likely have another top 5 or 10 pick and some money in free agency and can really start gearing up to get back in playoff contention.

 

We are still paying Hoiberg. We guaranteed Boylen’s 2020 salary (while also giving him a raise for who knows what reason).

No way is Jerry agreeing to pay 3 coaches at the same time. Boylen is our coach.
