As for Bulls preseason game #1, I didn’t think there were too many real takeaways. The exception being LaVine’s defensive effort. He doesn’t have the instincts and i don’t think he ever will, but he was definitely trying harder than at any point last year.

That said, the Bulls got blown by repeatedly. Bottom 3 defense is basically a lock. Regardless of LaVine’s newfound effort.
