I don't know that there were any cheap shots that went unnoticed by the refs. The penalties have got to go.

That Kassian hit was great.

As for the cross check I didn't see it, but I mean, it goes both ways. Cagula got slashed hard in the face in the first period and nothing was ever called.

That Kassian hit was a charge and a bad one and you are a shitty person for endorsing it.

 

That still photo doesn't show anything. Watch the video, it was a HUGE hit that sent Kassian through the air too, but he doesn't leap into him.

Just compare let's say Getzlaf's hit on Giordano last and the Kassian one. There's a big difference

 

If that Kassian hit was illegal, he'd be looking at a suspension. Especially with Coutures recent injurys, the NHL wouldn't let that fly if it really was an illegal hit.

 

Also watch Kassians feet. They don't leave the ice until he has already made body to body contact. I don't know how you can argue that.

 

That Kassian hit was clean. His momentum threw him over him. His feet never left the ground in a jumping motion. That hit was awesome

 

idk it's subtle but looks like he leaves his feet a little

 

It looks to me like he's already off his feet right as he makes contact. Because its Kassian, that wouldn't surprise me, he's been making those borderline hits since juniors.

 

It was definitely borderline but I think it was just the follow through that made it look worse

 

If this is the case, this should be the fate of Gary Bettman

 

Tootoo is still in the lineup over Jurco or Hayden b/c those 5 minutes he gives us every game are so valuable.

As I watched it I couldn't decide. Because of who it is, I expected it to be dirty but try to give him the benefit of the doubt and then end up not being able to decide
