You could probably do an audio stream on the ESPN app if you don't want to go the local radio route. NFL might have one too. I would stick to a local channel. You may not get every pick live, but they will at least be covering it.

I gotta believe the Houston ESPN and CBS sports radio affiliates will be doing a live draft show during the first round. I know Cleveland does. They will cut in for each pick in the first round unless they are doing an interview with a Browns pick, draft pundit, or Browns employee.

Rumors before the draft

 

I'd take McCaffrey at 2 over Fournette at 2 tbh. Really just hoping they trade down at this point though.

 

I'd do backflips. Solomon Thomas or Myles Garrett are just as welcome on this team as Fournette. Someone else trade up above us for Trubisky.

 

When did Anthony and Randall switch places? I can't quite pinpoint it.

 

I mean I hesitate to say there's no chance since weird shit happens every draft, but there's like a 0.0000001% chance 49ers pass on Garrett if Browns go QB.

 

I don't know, Derek Barnett could be better.

 

Know you're kidding, but I don't get the Barnett hype at all. One of the worst athletes at the position.

 

I'm not a big fan of Barnett either actually haha.

 

Fournette is my option 100% if both elite pass rushers are gone. I could go either way if Thomas is available, though as a spectator i still prefer Fournette in that scenario just so our offense gets taken seriously. I feel like we would HAVE to take Garrett if he was there.

 

I feel like Fournette is a surefire way to get the offense taken less seriously. You'll have a horrendous line, a bad QB, and three runningbacks. Gee, I wonder what it is we will do. I'll give you a hint though, it rhymes with "Grimes."

huh, more semantics that ignore the reality of the football game. Where we run it until they single cover ARob and stack the box and then suddenly Bortles has a much easier time pretending he's not an awful QB. You forget that we have receivers that can beat (or in ARob's case, simply override) single coverage from even elite CBs, what we lack is any semblance of a running threat that keeps extra defenders in the box, instead of double covering ARob or in robber zones watching Bortles.

Ivory and Yeldon literally do not even count at this point. Cool Yeldon was an overdrafted change of pace back and a very cuttable Ivory had more fumbles in one year than he will have TDs in Jacksonville at all. Adding a real runningback gives our offense more balance, not less. Our jump ball offense is easy to defend without a talented back.
