I’m telling you Martin Jones Stanley cup run has him basically safe from any criticism for years to come.

Let's not pretend like Chicago doesn't have a bandwagoning fanbase.

I think the wording is what confused me. Made it seem like Chicago fans all of a sudden became Oil fans lol.

I’ve only been in Chicago for a short time, but I haven’t seen many hockey fans. Most of the folks I have been around have been pretty open about jumping on right before Toews/Kane won their first cup. I’m sure there are plenty of hockey fans that were with the team when it stunk, but I’ve only met a few. One person I work with actually liked the Blues as a kid until Toews and Kane were picked. I mostly come across Bears and Cubs fans. I think it’s pretty normal in a big city with lots of things to do.

As a Cavs fan, there aren’t many diehards. Most joined during LeBron’s first and second stint. Whereas Jacket fans on the other hand, are mostly a few diehards, although the city is expanding their support the last few years.

Of course by plenty you mean precisely Vince Vaughn and @cubsml34

Please find it in your heart to never mention Vince Vaughn and I in the same sentence.

To be honest, Cubs is probably up there in the true gives a shit realm that I have come across. There is a manger in my office that seems to be pretty into in terms of the name drops and thoughts I hear from him. But to me, Chicago is a football and baseball first town. I also live pretty close to Wrigley so that definitely skews it. Bulls and Hawks are on a different level from what I come across. Most people I talk to say they definitely watched the '90s Bulls, but fell off after the MJ era era. Some returned for Rose, but it kind of depends on their age to be quite honest. I haven't had many good basketball conversations here outside of people asking my thoughts being a Cleveland fan.

Leave my wording alone! I'm a Sabres fan; I don't even know what it's like to like a team that people bandwagon to

Was already climbing on when Nordstrom and Teuvo were acquired but with Darling and Kruger I'm riding shotgun.

I only stream to watch the jets. Can't even watch my own team on NHL game center. They're always blacked out.

Game Centre is so fucking stupid for that. How many people have cut cable to go digital only? Why are they punishing these fans?

Rogers owns and operates Game Centre -- Sportsnet games, at the very least, should not be blacked out. I think Bell owns TSN...?

Yeah I still have game center to watch the other teams but it's stupid that I have to pay cable on top of that to watch the jets. Hopefully they do something about this.

There's a decent number of Hawks fans who jumped ship.
