Oh yeah, I expect that it will. Nowhere else to go really. I think that's why Portland has it better off in that regard. There's just fewer restrictions on expanding. Though they are disadvantaged because people will still live in Olympia and Tacoma but no one wants to live in fucking Eugene.

 

That's rad. We decided to get our house appraised because a couple of our community neighbors sold their house for way more than they were asking and sure enough....we are sitting on a nice payout when we sell as long as the market doesn't crash which ya know, will probably happen with my luck.

 

The new thing is buying nice condos, splitting it with people and airbnbing it. One person lives close enough to come clean it up and keep it fresh or help you out, that's all you need.

I don't know how people afford to live in big areas but I don't know how people live in small ones. I lived twenty minutes north of Tallahassee for 10 years and it was miserable.

I get major anxiety, idk how the hell anyone could want to literally live within the city. I would lose my shit on a daily basis. It's also the most expensive thing you can do and literally pointless. Why the hell would you want to live in an overpriced shithole with giant rats and roaches? It weirds me out.

 

We're hopefully going to refinance soon so we can stop paying mortgage insurance since we did FHA and didn't put 20% down, but i'm worried it may not be worth it because our interest rate is already really good and idk if we'd get something comparable to make our monthly payments cheaper. I have a feeling we'll have made a bunch of money in just the year we've had the house

It's honestly been my dream to have an awesome rv and just tour the world not giving a flying fudge.

Okay but you should know that if you have an RV and aren't giving a flying anything, you're gonna have a real tough time getting outside of this continent.

 

That's not where I live but I'm talking about people who live directly in major cities like philly, Boston, NYC, etc.

Yea, it's obviously not gonna be literally the same in like new hampshire or somewhere small like that though

 

He has to walk one separately because that one tries to make the walk competitive.

 

Pretty sure some boats still have car carriers in them, i think. Other option is a boat though.

 

The biggest city I've been in is Atlanta, largest one I've lived in is where I'm currently at (Charlotte), so I can't speak on the giant rats and shit but I'd definitely try and live in Philly, Boston, or Brooklyn. Almost definitely never will though haha.

Yes. All the time. It's amazing haha.

 

You can't afford the latter, unless you wanna live in a dump haha it's gentrified af with all the trust fund kids endlessly moving in. There's some neighborhoods that aren't totally dangerous that you'd do okay in but it's just not worth it. Philly is the place everyone is moving to lately, if you want to you should do it soon before the prices go up majorly.

 

Mortgage insurance is a pretty hefty part of your payments so I'd certainly look into it. Interest rates are pretty good right now last I checked but I've read something showing they're projected to start creeping back up in the next six months or so. I would definitely look into it. Since I slaved six years to the "man", I didn't have to put anything down and don't have to pay mortgage insurance so I don't have much experience there.

 

Yeah, going back to the "almost definitely won't". Headed west next haha.

I'm pretty sure it will end up being worth it, we're about 6-8 more payments away I think from reaching 20% so we're cutting it close lol
