Wiz is the man. Good lord. This was his first game back since Wentz went down.

Getting Chance Warmack back to where he belongs (the bench) cannot be understated.

 

i have no issue with the Patriots dynasty continuing / them winning the SB. i feel lucky that we get to witness such a historic run in our lives. who knows if something like this will ever happen again, right?

meanwhile people go all hyperbole because a sports team that doesn't really impact their lives is having success that they don't like lol. take it easy fellas, it's just a game. it's supposed to be a fun getaway from seriousness and real life and it seems to be the opposite for a lot of folks (which i really don't get. seems like that takes the fun out of watching / following sports).

 

when your favorite team is in the same division as they are, meaning they will never have a chance of winning anything until their dynasty is over, ya...excuse me for hating them.

Agree with the sentiment though. In all seriousness it really is something to behold. Plus over the past few years I’ve noticed i don’t allow losses to get to me as much as they used to.

 

My wife frequently reminds me that at the end of the day it doesn’t matter and I should relax about it and she’s right

However she also grew up with the Celtics dynasty and watched her favorite team in all sports (Red Sox) win multiple championships so it’s probably very easy to say

 

If it’s not the eagles running that type of dynasty, I never want to see anything like this ever again.

I don’t care how rare it might be.

 

Yeah, I’m not quite sure why we should feel obligated to appreciate watching this haha

 

Not obligated to appreciate it but no need to freak out over it and act like them winning is the equivalent to BB and TB burning down your house or shitting in your mouth.

 

And this is coming from someone who suffered the SB49 heart breaking loss. But, if we had to lose, I was glad it was to the Patriots and not like, the Ravens or something.

Agreed 100%. My team is bad enough as it is. They essentially have started the last 18 seasons in an 0-2 hole because Brady and Belichick own them. I don't care how historic this run is, or if we ever see one like it again. I got sick of this shit 10 years ago.

 

Dynasties are boring. Why would I feel lucky?

 

Pats are a fun team to watch. If they aren’t playing the Panthers I don’t really have a reason to hate them. I’d rather watch them than 90% of the teams in the league.

Someone tell me how to feel about this.

Good: Ten years in the Patriots staff. Not Rick Dennison. Also not Mike Shula.

Bad: At first glance it's not a great prior track record as NFL OC, but it was with the Mangini era Browns (any era Browns deserves an asterisk really), Sparano Dolphins and the last year of the pre-Andy Reid Chiefs, so I don't know that he ever really got to work with any decently talented offenses.
