I would take Kaep in Pittsburgh in a heartbeat

 

Jets are going to have around $80M in cap space to go along with that #1 overall pick.

Bring back Tannenbaum so he can spend it all!

 

He's too busy being credited as Dolphins MVP rn, I wonder what will happen when maccagnan isn't forced to spend all the cap room to win now

re: Kaepernick and IND

Andrew Luck is still out because of shoulder surgery, so a backup that isn't Scott Tolzien would be great for the off chance he isn't fully healed by training camp/preseason/maybe the regular season. Especially if it's a QB that's actually serviceable, like Kaepernick.

Ballard said today that they're not looking at veteran QBs right now though. They seem to like their UFAs at QB from this year and last year, so Tolzien might not even be the backup.

 

So... they just dgaf and will play garbage if luck isn't ready. Cool.

 

It worked last time they played garbage because their star QB got offseason surgery and recovered more slowly than they anticipated

 

And they still weren't bad enough to get a high pick, kinda crazy. Maybe luck really does suck lol if they had an at least average qb to that team, I think they win maybe 2 more games or 3 even idkk

It would also be crazy if kaep had a receiver group like that, he's never had anything more than a broken Crabtree for most of his career

 

Oh I was referencing the year Manning broke and they were miserable and got Luck.

But the year Luck broke early on and old, flu-ridden Matt Hasselbeck plus guys off the street led them to 8-8 works too.

I think Kaepernick would work in IND and would do well with those weapons if he had to play. Chudzinski did well with Cam in his first two seasons, so it's not like it's a stretch to put a QB like Kaep in Chud's system.

 

Totally forgot Chud was oc now, makes even more sense haha too bad it won't happen.
