The better team won. The better coach lost.

If we lost Jauan Jennings for any substantial length of time (see: longer than next game), it's going to be a long season.

that was the second worst loss I've ever seen in person. Can't wait to get 3 hours of sleep now.

I really think Callaway is going to fill that void there if he is out. Dude showed out.

A few thoughts on that game:

We obviously had no business winning that game, but it is nice to see we can still win some games even we play like shit.

Was nice to see Dormady settle in a little bit. His receivers weren't helping much with all those early drops.

Marquez Callaway is a stud and has a bright future. He can make plays.

John Kelly is just a beast. Top 5 RB in the SEC I'd say.

Questionable to bad coaching all night though. Still can't believe Butch didn't learn his lesson from Texas A&M last year and not go for 2 during the second OT period. Thankfully their kicker is really bad and we made a huge play to block that game winning FG. Also how did neither Kelly or Callaway touch the ball on the series after they scored when were still down a TD? They had accounted for almost our entire offense up that point.

It hurt my soul to read that we gave up a school high of over 500 rushing yards. We definitely already miss McKenzie.

Darrell Taylor was making plays all over the field last night on defense. He stepped up in a huge way. Same with Bituli.

Really hope Jennings isn't seriously injured and can rest up this weekend and be back for Florida.

EDIT: Actually hearing some rumblings that JJ might be out for the entire year? That would be catastrophic. Ugh

Really hope Guarantano gets to play next game. The guy is super talented and I hated to see his attitude and how he handled himself last night. Please don't transfer.

That trash can is fucking ridiculous. Of course there's a twitter handle for it though:

Feel bad for @shea he had stay through a double OT game just for his team to lose and then have to wake up 3 hours later. It was you or me I guess bud.

Anyhow we have to improve a shit ton to if we are going to compete with Florida in a couple weeks.

Georgia Tech is very good team and are going to win a lot of games this year. Especially with that QB they have.

Sharing this again because Trey Smith.

Man, what a first week of college football. Honestly starting to get more exciting each week than the NFL.

It has always been more exciting than the NFL. The NFL is just better.

I think I am just getting tired of the NFL though and all the baggage that comes with watching it - I know the NCAA isn't some bastion of morality - but man do I feel gross for liking the NFL these days.

Yeah, I'm glad Pettway and Davis are coming back for Clemson, but not having Sean as the backup in case something happens to Stidham is a little worrying.

Auburn looked... fine. I'm a little worried Gus is still too involved in the offense. The passing game didn't look much different, and it's worrying that either Stidham is holding on to the ball too long, or guys aren't getting separation downfield. Kerryon hurt sucks, but at least Pettway is back. Defense was massive though. I've not seen a more dominant defensive performance from Auburn in my lifetime, even against FCS schools.

Yea, that's dumb. It was 7.5 a week ago but rose to 14 because of... southern Utah lol

Because of an elite RB and one of the best trio of coaches in the country*

Also this is basically a stop gap year for Nebraska. Riley is starting to get his guys and cycle Pelini's out.

They've played one game, that's why it changed. They didn't just make it go from 4-14 overnight. Nebraska only winning by a score on Arkansas state counted some too.

Ok...Cristobal, Leavitt....and? You haven't already elevated Willie Taggart to the level of being apart of one of the best "trios" in the country, have you?

Rumors are Jajuan Jennings out for season with dislocated wrist. Here's the play:

    Ouch

Have you not? What more does Taggart have to prove than building up Western Kentucky and South Florida? You also have to realize that 10th out of 130 is pretty damn good haha.

Yeah, I do not share that line of thinking at all. Time will tell. I don't think he's a bad coach by any means but I'm not elevating him to that level.

Let's see what they do this year against the Pac-12.

Oh yeah, we definitely need to see what they do this year. So of course this is basing it only off what they did last year. And that was three division titles, three ten win seasons, and a national championship berth.

The PAC 12 is a different animal, one where ucla gives up 44 points and then makes a comeback

The defense is the real deal. Ready to see what our secondary can do as well since they weren't really tested this week. Pettway being back will obviously health. Seems like it'll be another season of so-so Kerryon health. Not much appears to change there. Stidham certainly showed some promise, but the WRs to me were the letdown. Couldn't get separation and dropping passes when they did. From what I've read, we only ran about 5% of Chip's passing plays. Basically just ran variations of four verts otherwise. The impression that I got was that we're saving the playbook for Clemson. I'm fine with that. But dominating what can be a really tricky triple option attack was fun.
