That first cop was dumb as shit and totally escalated the entire thing.

 

Sadly, I’m surprised the video wasn’t worse. With the mayor and sheriff apologizing in advance as asking for gods help and whatever else they did I was expecting something on a whole other level. Still terrible, but you don’t see sheriffs saying “we fucked up please pray for us” very often.
