Warriors and Spurs will play each other in the first round huh? Warriors might have dodged a bullet. Not that the Spurs should be taken lightly, especially considering the Warriors will be playing at the Spurs pace as they have been for the past month. They're not particularly good at it either. But I do think the Spurs are the weakest playoff team in the West regardless of their seed. However, that's only if Kawhi doesn't come back. If he does, Warriors will get eliminated in the first round.

And I'm one of those people who think their struggles have been exaggerated at least just a little bit. But I really do not think they'd be able to take on the Spurs without Steph if the Spurs have Kawhi.

Very upset Spurs have to play Warriors. OKC, Portland, Utah all could have beat them

do we know anything definitive with why kawhi is out? I thought it was contract stuff and there was bad blood between him and the front office but looking up reports it seems like it is health related and if hes healthy he’d be welcome back.

It really would be one of the strangest things I’ve seen in the NBA for the star player out all year basically, then come back for the start of the playoffs and beat the defending champs.

But I’d definitely be 100% for it. Come on Kawhi!!!

my guy Josh Hart killed it down the stretch for the Lakers

last 4 games averaged nearly 24 points and 7 rebounds/game on 53% shooting

I'll be rooting for the Pacers and Raptors over the Cavs, but really would just like to see the Sixers in the ECF. Hoping Joel can come back.

Does anybody think the Sixers won’t make the conference finals? I can’t see anybody else from that side of the east bracket making it.

I forgot about POS performing...what did he play? And I HATE when the Cavs do halftime acts, they do it all the time and it's always so cringe-worthy because hardly anyone is paying attention and the quality is awful, even when they book solid acts. It's just not the time or place for that kind of stuff.

They really drew the nice side of the bracket which should help them immensely, but now they're going to be playing teams who are trying to win. As I said yesterday, only 3 games out of their 16-game-win streak came against teams who were actually trying to win. The majority of them came against teams actively tanking and/or no incentive to win.

Also, I wonder if the streak took anything out of them mentally or physically. I think if they were playing a tougher opponent in round 1 or round 2, they'd have some trouble but I don't see the Heat and/or wounded Celtics/Bucks giving them much trouble.

Celtics could beat them, they'd be underdogs in that matchup for sure.
