I want the Wolves to win just bc I think Houston will have less trouble with them. But I like Denver much better, and just the way they’ve played lately makes me feel like they deserve it more. Plus the Joker.

Assuming Philly wins tonight, my guess is this will be Lue's plan. Play LeBron 15-20 minutes, let him get his 10+ points then sit him and other starters for the second half and bank on Philly winning out.

The only thing is, this team STILL has not played a game with a full roster, so if Hood is healthy, may not be a bad idea to use this final game as a run through with the entire team to at least try to get a game of chemistry before the playoffs and an idea of what the playoff rotation will be.

I'm just glad to be in this position at the end of the season. This team will make huge strides next year if they can learn to play some defense. A healthy Millsap playing more than half the year will certainly help.

If the Nuggets lose tomorrow, that'll be two straight seasons finishing 1 game out of the playoffs. Ouch.

That's what happened to LeBron his rookie/2nd season. Although 2nd year Cavs were tied with 8th seed, but lost tie-breaker. I remember being heartbroken.

  19. And so, Simmons said, he's developed a routine for handling those moments.

"They ask me if I'm going, and I usually say 'No' then go for the rebound," he said. "Maybe after that they learn their lesson."

    I love Ben even more.

The gamesmanship part of it is fascinating.

I also love when Spencer Dinwiddie says that some guys will press him and be like “no worries, I’m just doing it for the coaches.”

The whole dynamic is really intriguing.

Has the player been collecting NBA checks for >1 league year.

  25. Heh, I mean ... these kids been getting checks for a looooong time.

Stepping on the floor to play is far more indicative of a "rookie year" — by the NBA's own rules — than getting money.
