nah, us-brazil volleyball rivalry has been going strong for a decade. it's okay to be honest and say there's hate there. i celebrated when china beat y'all.

the rivalry spirit is certainly there, but there's no hate. no one really follows volleyball (or anything other than football) outside of the olympics around here.

Holy shittttt honestly so excited right here. Just saw Dalilah Muhammed win the 400 hurdles and she trains at my college! The assistant coach here has trained three hurdle athletes (Brianna Rollins and Kristi Catlin also) and I'm so pumped about CSUN making a name for ourselves.

 

as expected, this is officially our best olympic performance yet. next up: beating the 17 medals total from 2012. still just a fragment of our true potential.

if he's sticking to his story that he was robbed at gunpoint, then what exactly is he apologizing for?

 

He can't be extradited, so as long as he never goes to Brazil nothing will ever happen, so this totally says "apologizing" but not meaning a thing. Probably more to keep sponsorships and whatnot than anything.

 

I thought his lawyers would help him write an apology but it seems they did not..

 

this us volleyball game against italy is stressing me out.
