The NHL has the weirdest scheduling for the playoffs. It even happened in the regular season where they have a double header and the second game would end up starting 15 minutes later.

The west series' are crazy.

Preds/Ducks = 0 home victories in 4 games
Hawks/Blues = 1 home victory in 5 games
Kings/Sharks = 1 home victory in 4 games

Stars/Wild is the only series that stands apart.

 

Well so much for Blues in 5 lol. Still a daunting task to win out 2 more. Reminds me of the LA series in 2014

I went into the 2OT thinking "anyone but Kane" so ofc he nets his FIFTH career OT winner.

 

Disappointingly fell asleep like an old man and woke up to see Hawks won their yearly Double OT game. Although I'm also pretty glad I didn't stay up that late to see another Kane OT winner.

I have a bad feeling about that series now. I don't see the Blues winning 3 at the UC and the Hawks are so clutch a game 7 worries me. These are the types of series the Hawks win and then go on a playoff tear.

 

I'm calling it right now. That 2OT loss was crippling. They have to go to the hawks building now with that loss. They're going to lose game 6 and it's going to game 7.

 

That goal was all him. Unreal.

 

Milbury completely missing the point of Foley rant is peak Milbury.

I also never realized how bad it is for east coast people that are sharks/kings/ducks fans. The fact most games start at like 10:45 pm for them is so terrible.

 

It's been rough the past few seasons because there are so few matchups in the east even worth mentioning, forget about watching. The least interesting series out of the west is DAL-MIN, every other series is worth staying up for. It's fucked up my sleep cycle for sure haha.

 

Very excited to see Dallas play a real good team. I fully expect a second round bounce but they will be fun to watch

 

For sure. Just last night I was complaining to a friend about how the game would end at like 11 pm and I had work at 6 am. I then remembered how bad the east coast must have it after the Sharks/Kings OT game just a few days ago.

I'm just glad the West has been so great this year outside of DAL/MIN.

 

Really looking forward to a 6pm start time for Saturday's game.
