Penguins may have a few better players but I think the Sharks are deeper at forward and on d.

Sharks are deeper on D but all 4 of our lines can produce and have been.

Of all the players the Ducks got rid of over the last few years I miss Bonino the most.
But then again he was traded for Kesler who is arguably our best player so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Still have my Mighty Ducks Bonino jersey, but Kesler is the truth.

No matter what happens this is going to be a hell of a series. There aren't any easy games at this point. You don't get to the finals by accident.

Ducks are interviewing Carlyle for the HC job.

Well he did win the Cup with them in 2007 lol

John Tortorella won a cup too, doesn't mean he's a viable coaching option on the year 2016

Justin Braun going to miss game two so the Sharks are screwed even more.

No he is playing game 2, going to services tomorrow, and will rejoin the team for practice friday! The Sharks will be fine, remember how we bounced back after the game 1 loss to the blues? They won't have another stinker of a first period like game 1.

NHL dot com being absolutely wrong is nothing new but I respect a bounce back game tonight. If they not I'm prepared for disappointment at a graduation.

Yeah mercury news reported that he will not miss any games as of right now. This team is resilient, they will be just fine. I'm as pessimistic as they come when it comes to the Sharks, but I have a lot of faith in them this year. The team just feels different

    So much happiness

Never mind sharks lose 100-0. Sweep em.

Should've been Melker, he has looked pretty bad. I'm not a Nieto fan at all, but let's see if his speed can be a factor tonight. If only he had a decent pair of hands, he would be lethal.

    Ideal lineup would probably be

    Pavelski/Thornton/Hertl
    Ward/Couture/Donskoi
    Nieto/Marleau/Wingels
    Zubrus/Tierney/Karlsson

The Sharks seem to be buying into the narrative of Penguins speed but they should just be focusing on their puck possession game and not giving up the puck.

Nailed it. Pens line matched great the other night...guys like Tierney and Karlsson had like -10 possession stats for the night. So bad.

Tierney is such a weird case where is like crazy good in the offensive zone but so bad in the defensive zone. It's also even weirder when he has been a really solid PKer for the Sharks. It also didn't help Deboer was matching him up against Crosby and Malkin line.

My mind is at ease, because jersey ads look really good in Europe already.

lol the fear NHL fans have that we'll end up having ads like European teams is absurd. Most people don't even realize that AHL teams have had ads on their jerseys. It's not as bad as you think.

I don't really care about jersey ads if they limit it to like 1 or 2, but that is excessive lol

I think it looks stupid in the AHL too, honestly.

If the NHL did jersey ads but the ones the public can purchase don't have ads, I'll be cool with it.

I would love to play for a team whose jersey said Siemens on the front.
